The Class of 2025
As the Class of 2025 prepares for the final months of their RGS journey, we hope you and your sons look back on these years with pride and appreciation.
You’ve seen firsthand the impact of an RGS education – academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care, and the lifelong friendships that shape confident, well-rounded young men. Now, you have the opportunity to pass that gift on.
Our Class of 2025 Bursary Appeal offers you a means to create a legacy in your son’s name and hold open the door for another bright and promising student who might not otherwise have the chance to benefit from an RGS education.

Three Ways to Give
Even a small monthly gift makes a difference – £7 a month (less than two takeaway coffees) could help transform a student’s future. If all families from the Class of 2025 pledged £7 a month this would cover 50% of the costs.

Life After the RGS
The Headmaster invites you to join us for a parents-only evening in Big School. This is a celebration of the Class of 2025 and a chance to relive some shared memories. We will also highlight more about the importance of the Class of 2025 Bursary Appeal and Peter Dunscombe, Head of Careers and Higher Education will give you a detailed breakdown of what to expect over the coming months.
Please join us in Big School at 6.30pm on Thursday 22 May.
Become an Ambassador
Want to help make a difference? Join us as an ambassador to help spread the word – every family involved strengthens our ability to support the next generation.
Thank you for being part of the RGS community. Your generosity today will not only shape the leaders of tomorrow but also create a ripple effect that benefits society as a whole. By supporting a bursary, you’re giving a talented young person the opportunity to thrive – regardless of their financial background. These students go on to make meaningful contributions in their fields, from medicine and engineering to education and the arts, enriching communities and inspiring future generations. Your support doesn’t just change one life – it helps build a brighter, stronger future for us all.
